Materials:

Infinity Scarf Cuddle Kit

Sewing machine

Coordinating thread

Scissors or snips

Optional: Pins

The Infinity Scarf Cuddle Kits come precut, making the process even faster. When you open the kit, you'll find pre cut pieces of Cuddle fabric, each measuring 19” by 36”. Below are the written instructions, and we also have a video tutorial. Let’s get started!

Instructions:

  1. Fold and Sew the Fabric: With the fabric right sides together, fold it in half width-wise. Sew using a half-inch seam allowance along the long edge, starting from one end and sewing down the length of the fabric. No need for pins – the cuddle fabric is easy to manage – but use them if you feel more comfortable.
  2. Turn Inside Out: Turn the fabric tube you’ve just stitched right side out through one of the open ends. Gently push out the corners to ensure a smooth finish.
  3. Create the Twist: Hold one end of the scarf and rotate the other end around, creating a twist in the fabric. This twist adds a lovely detail to the finished scarf.
  4. Join the Ends: With the fabric still twisted, sew around the tube, leaving a small opening to turn the scarf inside out. Use a half-inch seam allowance, and backstitch at the beginning and end of the opening for added durability.
  5. Turn and Finish: Turn the scarf inside out through the opening, pulling it gently through. Close the opening either by hand or with a straight stitch on the sewing machine.

Voila! Your cozy Cuddle Infinity Scarf is ready to wear. Don't hesitate to experiment with different colors and textures of cuddle fabric to create a variety of scarves for yourself or gift. With precut kits available from Bits ‘n Pieces, staying warm and making infinity scarves has never been easier!
